How can one disagree with already seeable issues?
Since the data comes from external sources I am against this. What about shows that have years between seasons?
Gilmore Girls, X-Files to name the first two that come to mind.
Sure, not the everyday case but I think the issue lies not within trakt and therefore nothing to do there. -

The screenshot looks a lot better and cleaner than what the current grid layout actually offers.
I'd like that v1 styled view much better than what we have now.ds1 supported this idea ·

No current plans for this, but could be an interesting feature to allow the user to have custom rating text,

There have been countless discussions about the labeling of MAL ratings as well and it makes me wonder why that one is any different to the current trakt situation. It's basically the same issues with different labels.
Bringing MAL into this as an argument isn't really a convincing choice here.
Hence I am not really in favour of changing it. It adds nothing and someone will have a gripe with it anyway. So imo it's better off as a VIP feature only a minority would use.

Would be a cool idea but considering tunefind is ridicolously overpriced I'd be against an integration. Rather an alternative to that would be nice.

Currently, you can hide a show from you calendar or progress page. Hiding from watched progress also hides it from your dashboard on deck. Hiding in those 2 places should work for most users.
This topic proposes a “dropped” status for a show. This would hide from the 3 sections mentioned above + add a “dropped” indicator in places such as the show summary page.

I'd prefer to call it "Dropped" out of habit for other media but I agree, this'd be cool.
In addition to that a dropped:true|false in the API whenever we get {"watched":true|false} with auth'd calls would be necessary to reflect the changes in the API as well.
You should not be able to buy into some kind of moderator status with a VIP access. Ever.
I think given the fact that VIPs pay money they are generally seen as more trustworthy than the random non-VIP and considered to care more. But all it does is favor elitism and abuse of rights.
Displaying the VIP badge is already too much.
I wholeheartedly disagree with this in general. There is no need to do anything against early ratings. Sure, it does lead to a certain bias but that bias will come anyway and no rating is absolute nor is it in any way reliable. All ratings are nothing more than an indicator for how good or bad something is received and in any case context plays a huge role as well.
There is no negative impact (overall) on early ratings as that would mean that ratings on trakt mean more than they actually do.
