How do I share a content page from Android other than using the automatic social?
I would like to be able to copy the URL of a page about a movie or TV show or actor via email or other non supported service but the URL is obscured...
1 voteYou might be running the website in full screen app mode. If so, I assume you can long press on a link and copy it that way. Or if you run the website in a standard browser there should be a location bar to grab the URL.

Facebook connect not working
I tried to connect my Trakt profile to my Facebook account and got a message saying:
App not set up: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Facebook and Twitter friends
Currently am not able to see any of my friends from Facebook who uses Trakt. Whats the use of connecting to Facebook and not able to add friends or view their watchlist and share things.
And I would want this feature for Twitter also. Can we import friends from twitter also?
2 votesThe dashboard should show facebook and twitter suggestions if available. Facebook has a very limited API for this info so it is possible they broke the functionality.

Add ability to customize rating text
When sharing to a social network that you've rated a movie/episode/season/etc, the ability to customize the text when sharing should be added. For example, if you were rating a movie (say Ex Machina) the default text is "Ex Machina (2015) ★★★★★★★★★★ https://trakt.tv/movies/ex-machina-2015 … #trakt". I think it would be nice if users were able to customize that text to something different.

I can not share in Twitter
When I give check-in not shared on Twitter. I have enabled the option to share on twitter. Sorry for my english i used "Translate Google".
7 votesFrom what I can tell this is due to a rate limit from the twitter API. If you have watched or rated several things, twitter is likely limiting the API calls we can perform.

Create RSS/ICS Feeds of our Episode/Movie viewing history
Include an .ics Calendar feed containing our movie and TV episode viewing Histories that we can subscribe in iCal etc. to view when we watched what.
This should work similar to how the Foursquare check-in feed work: https://foursquare.com/feeds/
4 votesAs a VIP, you can actually get RSS and iCAL feeds for your history already.
To get going, here some example URLs you can use. You can get a list of movies, shows, or all. Plug in your own API key (http://trakt.tv/settings/api) and username. Optionally, you can add a comma separate list of actions to filter it further. Choose from scrobble, checkin, and seen. I’d recommend using scrobble,checkin as the default action.
http://api.trakt.tv/user/history/movies.rss/[apikey]/[username]/scrobble,checkin
http://api.trakt.tv/user/history/shows.rss/[apikey]/[username]/scrobble,checkin
http://api.trakt.tv/user/history/all.rss/[apikey]/[username]/scrobble,checkin
You can use .rss (xml feed) or .ics (ical feed) in those URLs.

Friends Watching widget for XBMC
Imagine you're using Aeon Nox or Aeon MQ5 on your XBMC media center, and one of the widgets on the home page is telling you that your buddy is watching The Simpsons right now.
Building support for that into Trakt Utilities would be awesome. If you're into that idea, please get in touch with the Aeon Nox and MQ5 skin makers, I know they'll be interested!

Add friends from facebook, twitter, etc
Since there's a Facebook App for Trakt.tv, why doesn't it import your friends? I don't see any use for it other than that, yet it doesn't have that function.

So you can log with G+ account and share check-ins and the other activities by Google+.

Widget stuck on watching
Seems like https://widgets.trakt.tv/users/c5f5cbe26885a7f36c12dad6cdce18e7/watched/thin@2x.jpg works fine but https://widgets.trakt.tv/users/c5f5cbe26885a7f36c12dad6cdce18e7/watched/thin.jpg always shows me watching stuff. Is that path deprecated?

Friends from Facebook
Hello,
I can't seem to find the page that shows the facebook friends that are using trakt.tv or any reccomandation about people i should follow. I looked everywhere on my profile and I don't see the option to search for people.

Give the ability to turn sharing off by default for check-ins
So I want to have my social media connected to Trakt so people I know are able to find me there and people who don't can check out my social media.
However, I DON'T want to share the eps / movies I watch to either of them when checking in. Despite trying everything to turn it off permanently though, I couldn't find any option for that, so now every time I check in, I have to do those extra clicks to turn off sharing for all my social media, which is annoying, especially if I forget and hence accidentally post.

1 voteGood idea, I’ll have an update out for this next week. It will use settings on https://trakt.tv/settings/sharing, specifically the “Checkins on the website and mobile apps”.
If that is checked, the buttons will be checked in the check in popup. If unchecked, they won’t be.

Use movie fanart on Facebook posts

Twitter integration working for episodes, but not for movies
I have Facebook and Twitter connected and they are set up the same way (as much as possible). Facebook integration works fine, but Twitter integration works only partially. I set "I have Start watching in a media center" option for episodes and movies for both TW and FB. On my FB wall I can see posts about episodes and movies that I have watched in Plex, but on my Twitter I can only see twits about episodes. "Finish watching (scrobble) in a media center" is off, since it looks redundant to me if previously mentioned option is checked.

'Dinner for Five' does not show the image when I check-in on Twitter. :(
1 voteIt seemed to work when I just tested. Twitter pulls in the image on their side so its possible they had a temporary issue.

Add friend discovery through social media.
I wish I could discover my friends from social media on Trakt so that I can follow them.
1 voteIf you have Facebook and Twitter connected, your dashboard will display any friend recommendations if we find any. With Facebook, this is restricted to only showing friends who have also linked up with Trakt already.

sharing on facebook not working, it did a few weeks ago, but suddenly it stopped
i have checked the settings and are ok, my media player addon (kodi) has correct settings since i can see on trakt site that it gets updated with my episodes and movies, but facebook does not show the updates (i have also checked if my facebook app was somehow blocked but it is ok), any ideas?

1) disconnect on Trakt
2) disconnect on Facebook
3) reconnect on Trakt -

Sometimes the connection needs to be re-done for Facebook. Try this:
1) Disconnect Facebook on trakt
2) On Facebook, view your apps and remove the Trakt.tv app
3) Back on Trakt.tv, connect your Facebook account again.
