Track other forms of media
I'd love to see some other media forms (manga, books, video games, etc.) on the site so I can track everything in one spot.

If trakt expands to other forms of media, and gets better at notifying for new releases and projects by favorite artists, directors, actors, etc., I won't hesitate to get the VIP upgrade.

I WAS ACTUALLY GONNA POST THIS AS A NEW IDEA. I SPEND MORE TIME LISTENING TO AUDIO BOOKS, THAN I DO WATCHING TV, AND MOVIES. ITD GIVE OUR BLIND AUDIENCE SOMEWHERE TO GO ALSO.

For video games Raptr is the best that I have found, but does things a little bit differently to trakt.tv

being able to track comic books (in the same website or a different site) would be a great addition

anime would be nice, especially because of the integration with popcorn time ;)

Agree with most of what's been said. Don't really want trakt development to lose focus supporting other media. Yet at the same time there is very much a lack of options in those areas.
Music -> Last.fm - doesn't let you rate 1-10 your music. Closest thing that I'm aware of?
Really your music ratings and (less importantly) number of plays should be attached to your profile and synced online and to all your music players/devices. Integration into music players is going to be a pretty big part of this, like trakt works with media browser, plex, xbmc etc.Games -> Listal? Anything better? Be nice to know what games you've finished, want to play, your rating, global (say metacritic) rating, and perhaps what you own.
Books -> Goodreads - currently best system for books. Listal another option. I'm personally not all that into books so less important for me personally.

Honestly I have MyAnimeList for anime/manga/light novels. Plus there are other sites out there i am sure that keep track of books and video games.
I just want them to concentrate on being the best TV tracking site.

I'd be pretty keen on this for books and music.
A lot of the book based sites (eg. Goodreads) seem to do an ok job, but they feel really dated and lacking in good features.
For music, I would be less interested in the last.fm style scrobbling of music plays/etc, but the ability to keep track of the artists I like, their albums, and when new stuff is released would be cool. (can sort of currently do this with a few other services, but they are all a bit hacky/lacking)

Would definitely be on board with the addition of music to trakt. Have grown a bit tired of last.fm and feel trakt would do a fantastic job of tracking this.

I feel like trakt is too suited for visual media to expand to other media. There is already last.fm, goodreads, and similar services for other media (I have no idea if there's a video tracking service).
I think there would be too many changes needed to make it work, and I'd rather trakt developers focus on improving the service they already have, than expanding it to more services.

I think it would be amazing. I've being searching for a site to trakt my music artists for quite a wile. Never found something that allows me to see what I'm missing. There is a lot of new album releases I don't know of because of that.
It does fall into the trakt idea. It's a big improvement, but a really nice one. I think it should be considered.
