hmm lets say a series has 500+ episodes and you didn't watch from ep 1. You started at ep 100. Being able to at w/e point ep you started watching the series to add it automatically from that point to the latest ep.

This would be really handy for some anime shows, that have like a hundred episodes in a single season. if you've binge watched 20 episodes in a day. you can't mark the season as watched, and checking every episode individually, takes time, especially with the slow cache saving, and the bug that causes the "when did you watch this" dialogue to disappear, when marking them in quick succession.

After Binge watching 20 episodes of your favourite show. Marking them as watched is a pain, especially if you're only a third of the way through the season.

There should be a button that would say "watch this episode, and all episodes before, in this season."

this would speed things up, so that people are not having to click on each episode.

I don't see much use for this feature when you can mark episodes and seasons as watched.

Yes, yes, yes. I watched shows before I started using Trakt and they're still on the air. Now I see that I have way more episodes to watch than I really do. But I don't want to mark all the old stuff as watched because it will mark it as watched NOW, instead of some unknown time in the past. Plus, it'll fill up my RSS feed and I use that RSS feed to record things in a journal. I want to mark stuff as "watched sometime in the past so don't muck with any data other than marking it as watched."

And if a "watched up to this" button is ever added, please do not date/time-stamp all those episodes then, but create an "unknown" date/time category.

Yes, please, it would make things a lot simpler.
