Due to some shows having discrepancies between TVDB and TMDb and these occasionally being changed (rightly or wrongly), I was wondering if it would be possible to link our check-ins/plays with TVDB episode IDs. This would mean that, should data get changed and then refreshed, our plays and ratings would remain tied to the right episodes, as opposed to getting messed up.

I realise this probably isn't a major issue but it would certainly help maintain data integrity for users.

TVDB and TMDb also have the ability to cross-reference each other under episode details; I don't know if Trakt is able to utilise this feature but it would help with trying to improve accuracy. It would also potentially help get round the problem that each database handle certain things like reboots / continuations slightly differently ('Will & Grace' springs to mind).
