Create lists from a CSV file import
Before trakt, I used to have a list with all the titles I've watched and liked. It's painful to manually sync that list (thousands of entries) with trakt.tv
It would be very useful to have an ability to sync them automatically.

Until CSV import is free and straight-ahead to perform, I'll be sticking with Letterboxd. Can't import from Letterboxd? Then how am I going to add hundreds of titles? One by one? So if one "can't import from Letterboxd" I'd say that's a Trakt problem that needs immediate addressing. Given many previous comments saying the same thing , I guess I'm beating a dead horse...

You can import data from a lot of sites with Damien's tool https://github.com/damienhaynes/TraktRater/releases
What you are looking for is a loose title based import? LB doesn't support list exports (with more info) I think?

So we're still unable to import csv files to create a list on here? I have a lot of Letterboxd lists I'd like to import on here. That was the main reason I joined this site. This it was a no brainer that you'd have this feature...

Many people have lists (favorites, folders etc.) that they can upload to the site far quicker than manually searching and selecting individual titles. Please allow upload plain text lists to be uploaded/searched for such purposes.

Is there any option to mass import cvs to a trakt watchlist?

Is this option available on Trakt.tv to simply import a list of movie titles?
Even approximate import should be a good start and asking user to choose when in doubt among multiple options. -

Do you mean upload those from a CSV file? If so, we are planning to add importing support for CSV and some other popular websites.

Can't agree more! When doing lists you always have to either search with the ID's themselves to get the "correct" entry right away or spend some time going through the search results which get caped, have a hard time with short words and arn't that precise. At the end of the day you are a lot faster with just querying google/imdb search with the title.
