Recommendations
Trakt user for about a month. Awesome site. Regarding "recommendations", don't know how new this functionality is but personally would like ability to hide the recommendations button and the recommendations list as I will never use the functionality. Also if there is a rating system for shows and you can collect shows, isn't that a form of recommendations? I would think giving the ability to data mine that information would be better than a separate recommendations tool but perhaps I don't fully understand the functionality.

No plans to hide the option since it is different than ratings. It’s entirely possible you might rate something lower, but still recommend people watch it. It’s also possible you rate something a 10 but don’t recommend it to others for some reason. To remove this ambiguity, we added a dedicate recommendations list.
