Tv show runtime Incorrect
The tv show runtime on most shows is incorrect. Shows runtime should not include commercial time. For instance, shark tank episodes say 60 minutes even though they are around 42 minutes without commercials. The data being wrong doesn't bother me, but it doesn't allow me to check in to another show after the show is done. I have to wait until 20 minutes into my next show...

I think the 2/3 * runtime block is already implemented. You can check in a new episode after 2/3 (or something around that) of the runtime.

Ya definitely agree on the cutting abuse out. I think most shows have around 1/3 commercials. If all the shows include commercial times, something like( checkin time + (2/3) * runtime) would be fine. Currently, I get way behind on check-ins especially if I watch 2 or 3 in a row.
