This is badly needed. Maybe some comments don’t warrant deleting but I don’t want to see them nonetheless. I stopped enjoying the comment section because of a certain subset of users. Blocking should be a basic function.

I find some users leave obnoxiously long reviews that are not worth reading and I would like to be able to block them from view. I'm sure some people want to waste their time reading them, but I don't even want to spend my time scrolling past them. A block/mute capability would be greatly appreciated.

Today, some of us (myself included) are learning that it would be nice to be able to block users from interacting with our stuff. A spam profile found me and is systematically liking every comment I've left, from most recent back. (Already emailed support directly; just adding here to demonstrate another possible utility of the requested block feature.)
