Import watched status from Netflix csv
Hi, from my account in Netflix I can download a csv of everything I've ever watched and the date I watched it. It would be tremendous if I could import all that into Trakt. Even better if I import is more than once, it shouldn't duplicate - such that I can do it periodically.

Looking into this, but Netflix provides very little data and the matching wouldn’t be the accurate.

I think they've added some episode numbers in the file now. It appears that way when looking through mine.
What about using the ratings file?

Traktflix is ok, when you watch netflix in browser but it's not that good when using Android TV app

maybe try to match and if it's not 100% accurate then show a "is this correct?" page? Then store the "netflix name" and second user will have a good match.

Why not just use Traktflix? https://tegon.github.io/traktflix

We need to email Netflix to add more information to the CSV or at least "Episode 1" so it will be more accurate than title match.
I am sending one now.

I looked at the CSV file, but the data is very limited and it would be tough to accurately match episodes.
For example, Netflix gives this:
Lost in Space: Season 1: "Danger, Will Robinson"So if we didn't have an exact title match, we wouldn't know which episode was watched. Using the names to match is not super accurate. I think a CSV import would be possible if Netflix provided IDs and actual episode numbers.
