Change ratings text
The text associated with 1-10 star ratings currently isn't very helpful.
For example, I feel like Star Wars: The Force Awakens is described best of the options with "weak sauce", but I don't think it was as bad as a 1.
It's the same with the other end: I could describe Scott Pilgrim as "totally ninja", but don't feel like it was a 10/10 masterpiece film.
I'm coming from MyAnimeList, where the 10 points each have a non-subjective position on the scale which I use to help me decide on an appropriate rating for the series/film. It helps stop me from rating merely "great" things as a 10 instead of a 9, and from rating shows that weren't too bad with a much lower score.
Is there any chance of the scale using better terminology? It doesn't have to be all super-serious, but terms like "weak sauce" and "totally ninja" carry different weights between different people. I assume that this was meant as fun since most people seem to be able to rate something out of 10 by magic, but I don't have that ability and rely on the attached descriptors to make a better judgement. The most specific I can get without assistance is "really good", "good", "meh" or "bad".
I suppose my solution should be to memorise MAL's descriptors so I get better at rating things. But this is still important to help other people from rating things too highly out of hype or too poorly out of hate.

No current plans for this, but could be an interesting feature to allow the user to have custom rating text,

There have been countless discussions about the labeling of MAL ratings as well and it makes me wonder why that one is any different to the current trakt situation. It's basically the same issues with different labels.
Bringing MAL into this as an argument isn't really a convincing choice here.
Hence I am not really in favour of changing it. It adds nothing and someone will have a gripe with it anyway. So imo it's better off as a VIP feature only a minority would use.
