This would probably be good for differentiation in lists as well.

It would probably work if they were separated like production is set below acting roles. But then it is harder to tell if a movie or show was released before another. You could have an option to enable separation like that.
Personally I think that differentiating by a logo that says movie/show on the poster like when you search might be the best.
