Up Next To Watch: use a list as a queue
Hi
I have a suggestion for the dashboard, a new section or an option to choose between my watching progress or a custom ranked list that would function as a queue of sorts.
Obviously this is going to be a little tricky to implement because of the different types of items (movies, shows, seasons, episodes) but it would be very helpful not just as a queue but also as a tool to track the watching order of some shows. "Favorite Genres" Pie Chart on Profile Page
Can the color scheme of the "Favorite Genres" Pie Chart on the Profile Page be different colors instead of "50 Shades of Red" ;] Or possibly in the settings the user can decide which colors they want their genres to represent for the profile page pie chart.

import user data
I see there is an option to export data. Is it possible now or in the future where a user can export their respective data and later upload that data? Possible use is a backup of data prior to doing some testing, then to restore after ... pull the data to make changes then upload to send the changes to trakt.tv, etc.

Allow users to add any show they want to the 'on deck to watch' category
For example if I'm watching a show that I have previously watched, it won't show up on my 'on deck to watch', but if there was an option to allow users to add any show they want onto the 'on deck to watch' category it would be better and more convenient for us.

Search for show(s) in lists
As a way to find new shows, and compatible users, it would be great to be able to search inside lists.
The current list search seems to find list names, not content in the list.
A couple of regular language examples:
"Show me lists that have The Hidden Fortress"

After signup, optimize new user flow to add all the movies I've seen
The first thing I want to do after signing up is to add all the shows and movies I've seen. This isn't really accommodated very well with the current flow. I would expect the option to view all movies in the db (with various sort options - alpha numeric at least). I'd also really expect the option to hide all movies I've seen from all search results (featured, trending, full list, etc.) to help me get it done. Add streaming service filters to progress page
I'd like to be able to filter my progress page to only show unwatched episodes that are available in my streaming service(s) of choice (and my location). It usually takes a long time between episodes going live and them appearing, for example, on Netflix.
Similarly, it would be nice to have an RSS feed that notifies when episodes go live on chosen streaming service(s).

Native Friend discovery
Rather than making Friend discovery dependent on 3rd-party social platforms, please implement native Friend discovery. One solution would be comparing tastes and ratings and film viewings between users and letting users discover & add each other that way, similar to Last.FM's Neighbors feature

Ignore apostrophe and accents in search
Right now if you search a title (e.g. "L'illusionista") without putting the apostrophe, the search will not find anything.
It would be cool if the search API was more forgiving and simply ignore any missing apostrophe or accented letter.

Hide "completed and ended" shows
I know there are various ways to hide shows on the progress page. But if I use"hide ended shows", it hides the ones that are ended but I haven't completed yet so I can't keep tracking on them. If I use "hide completed", I can't see when the new episode will be of them. So it would be great if you could create a button which hides shows that are both ended AND completed at the same time. This way I could see everything I am interested in right now on my progress page.

What do I know this actor/actress from? (filter actor/actresses shows/movies by watched)
Often I recognize an actor/actress, and I find their name, but I'm still not sure what show/movie I know them from. You have all the info needed to fix that!
I suggest there be a way to filter the shows/movies on a "people" page (trakt.tv/people/...) to only show the shows/movies that you've watched. This functionality will only improve in helpfulness as people update their trakt profiles to be more complete, and as trakt's actor database becomes more exhaustive.

Dashboard News for Show/Season
Hi,
I really like the new implementations that have been made on dashboard (on deck to watch/upcoming schedule), I find myself hardly in need to go on calendar anymore.
I had an idea for another block on dashboard, let me know what you think of this :
News for shows you are watching that would let you know the changes in said shows, for example when you get the information a new season has been ordered/renewed or when a show has been cancelled/ended. Episode Runtime info is very inaccurate
I’ve noticed that many episodes of many shows duration is very inaccurate. For example, the latest season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, the episodes runtime are 37-45 Mins. But Trakt.tv has all the episodes rounded down to 30mins. I’ve also noticed that in other shows, many episodes are rounded up. With such flawed data points, This creates an inaccurate total of watch content for that day. Personally I am someone who likes to track how much content I’ve watched in total for a given day.
If I’m missing 35mins from one daily total, that would create an even greater inaccuracy in…9 votesTVDB has episode runtimes, but they don’t expose them through the TVDB API yet. Once they do, we’ll update Trakt to automatically use the runtimes.

Create a folder/list of lists
I like to keep my series/doramas/animes/variety or reality shows organized by status (currently watching, dropped, priority, freezer etc), but my lists get a bit messy since they're all mixed up.
If I could create different folders for each, I think it would make things easier.And I know it sounds like a feature not many people would use, but it's worth the try.

Add movie studios to year review
In the Shows Year in Review we can see how many shows we saw form each Network. It would be cool if we could do the same for the movies and see the Studios!
