Filter idea and a serach bar in within rating/collection section
When in your ratings page, instead of fading your lets say collected movies they should just disappear completely and only show the once that you haven't collected ... A mini search bar within your ratings and collection page would also be really helpful in quickly finding out if you have rated or collected a curtain movie/show.

Ability to like items on a friend's feed. Or comment on them. Like when they start watching a show you really really love and you want to talk to them about it.

Custom Rankings
I kind of find the "totally ninja" and "weak sauce" rankings to be somewhat... confusing. (For instance, when a tweet got sent out that I gave an episode of Breaking Bad 'totally ninja,' it was received with more confusion than anything).
Since we all have different tastes and subjective opinions on how we feel about television and film, I was wondering if there was a way custom rankings could be implemented? Where we could edit the 1 and 10 rankings ourselves, since I'd call an episode that gets a ten "Perfect," but somebody else might think of it more as…

Bring back the bar chart rating overview that was at the top of movie and tv pages
It was great for comparisons.

"Most watched TV show" should be about total time
If I watch 10 5-minute-episodes, this doesn't really mean that the show should be prominently featured on my profile over a show with 8 episodes that are 1 hour each. How much someone likes a show is best shown by how much time they spend watching it; episode counts are arbitrary and favor sitcoms over real shows.

Create parent shows
It would be great to have a parent show that includes all seasons and episodes of its children shows.
For example a CSI parent show that would have all episodes for CSI Las Vegas, Miami and New York under one chronological list. I see all theses shows as one and would like to know what the next chronological episode is, and how many episodes are left in the group. Other examples would be NCIS, NCIS LA, NCIS NO, and The CW D.C., Arrow, Flash Super Gil, Etc.

private profile public list
I have a private profile, but would like to make one of my lists public.
At the moment this doesn't seem to be possible. (Searches for the name of the list, already set to Public, does not return any results. If I go directly to the link of the list when logged out, what shows up is a message that the user is private, and not the public list.)

Delete history from a specific date
I recently had an error (probably a problem with an app) and during a single day, my episode play count for all my shows doubled/tripled! I know you can remove the watched statuses one by one, but as I now have thousands of watches in one day, that is just impossible! Also, removing the watched for the entire show is just as absurd! Is there a way to remove all of your plays/watches of a specific date (say Feb 20), so I won't have these extra watches messing up my record? If there isn't, is there a way to implement…

Allow database mods
Allow trusted uses that are hand picked to remove duplicate data on the site. Would take a lot of the workload of doing so away, and it would help clean up the site.

Show awards (and maybe nominations) on films / shows / profiles
It could for example be shown by a logo associated with the "competition" in color when won and in gray-scale when only nominated. A caption would be shown with the details (best actor, etc) when hovering. The logo would be on the film or show when on a profile, with a count at the top of the page. When on a film/show it would be either at the top when for the whole show or on specific actor/season.

Add reviews for an episode
I like to read reviews from The A.V Club and/or IGN of an episode after I watched it. So I would like to know if it's possible to add links to the reviews of the episode because I know it might be difficult to acquire the reviews automatically and not all shows have reviews but it would be a cool feature if it was available thank you.

Official Lists
Official Lists should be brought back I used to like looking to see how many of the IMDB top 250 movies I had seen. Along with box set lists of movies that are together such as Star Wars.

Show more shout/review statistics about the different Trakt users on the shout/review page
Maybe its an idea to show more statistics on shouts and reviews of Trakt users.
For example the total amount of shouts can be shown a Trakt user has made and the total amount of likes for all the shouts someone has received besides the likes on the currently displayed shout or review.

Family accounts
I use XBMC, and make use of profiles for; myself, the wife, and the children.
I would like the ability in trakt to create a family account, so we can all still have separate libraries and use different accounts to scrobble. However via the family account they are linked, so there is an overview of what we have all watched etc recently.
Also, possibly the ability when viewing a family members activity to say "I watched this with them too" and have it show up in your feed as well. Or a popup in XBMC much like the rating dialog,…

Add YouTube video links to episodes
A good amount of shows have canonical versions of their episodes uploaded on YouTube.
It'd be useful if there was a way to "link" episodes with those specific YouTube videos.
This unique video ID (the part after /watch?v=) would ideally be exposed through the backend for API clients. As for the website, instead of embedding the video, a simple link would be fine since I don't think you guys are interested in turning Trakt into a viewing platform.

search engine fault-tolerance
If I may, I'd like to ask for a slightly more 'forgiving' search engine which gives us humans the opportunity to do what we do best - make mistakes or at least be allowed not to be 100% precise all the time about our input, for instance searches including release years "Life (2015)", forgotten dots instead of space characters "Life.in.Pieces" and even more obvious spelling mistakes, which trakt at this point really does not approve of (= no results).
