Choose the genre on watchlist
On rating, we have the option "genre", so we can see the movies divided by genres and also see our rating, and this is awesome. But why don't do this with our watchlist?
I save EVERY movie that I want to watch on my watchlist, but some days I just want to watch horror, comedy or whatever, so I think this idea would be perfect.1 vote -

Official app user interface
I’m so pleased that there is a new official app, I installed it the other day and have been playing with it since.
I feel that I have to do too many clicks to get to what I want to see.
On the Home Screen the display for “Up Next” only lists three episodes and have to click “See All Up Next”; couldn’t these all be listed left to right. The same problem with “Upcoming Schedule”, you have to click on to view all, could the Season poster be included (too much text all blurs into one) and listed left…1 vote -
Remove Recommend button and retweek ratings system to include it.
I don't know why there is recommend button. If I rate something at 10, I would think I would recommend it as well. Why don't you do something like if it is rated 6-10, its automatically recommended and 1-5 is a non-recommend. Just seems stupid that I should have to go through the 3500 movies I have watched and now click recommend on the ones I thought were good.....

Option to remove Ads from mobile app
Consider in-app purchase or lower level VIP tier just for the removal of Google Ads in the official Trakt app.

integration and easyness

My wish is:
I hope trakt can achieve the same integration and easyness with content providers as last.fm does for me, meanwile I will keep supporting trakt as a VIP

Add new items to the top of the watchlist, rather than the bottom
When adding a new item to my watchlist, I would like it to be added to the top (highest rank) of the list rather than the bottom. This would need to be an option in settings, rather than the default action.

Website is acting wonky on Safari (url bar and back/forward icons not working)
When I go to VIP, Calendar or the Trakt logo (dashboard) in the top menu, the URL in safari matches the actual URL of the website, however, if I then navigate to another page, be it Discover, an episode, or something a friend watched, the URL doesn't update.
Also the back/forward buttons in browser don't work.
I click on calendar in the top menu, all is fine, then I click on an episode of The Flash, and the URL doesn't change, and neither does the back/forward button. See images in this imgur album:

Option to add unfinished films/ TV series on Trakt account
Ability to record started but unfinished films and TV shows on your Trakt account. They wouldn't be counted in the 'watched' films and TV section however, they would be held in a separate category under 'unfinished' or 'dropped.'
This would help improve Trakt accounts and stop people from hiding unfinished shows that they don't want featured on their 'continue watching' list.

Wrong date
Hi! I've noticed some issues with the date of some TV shows from Brazil. On TMDB, it shows the correct date (https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/30791-no-limite/season/5) but on Trakt it's showing the wrong date (https://trakt.tv/shows/no-limite/seasons/5). Please fix this as it shows on TMDB.
Also, another TV show shows with wrong data is "Big Brother Brasil". If you go to their Trakt page (https://trakt.tv/shows/big-brother-brasil) it shows the original time, but if you go to some episode, it shows another time (https://trakt.tv/shows/big-brother-brasil/seasons/21/episodes/1).

Add an "Uninterested" list, that is excluded from the "Anticipated TV shows" score
I have a personal "Uninterested" list, so that I can fade/hide all TV shows that I've taken into consideration. This works well for me, but I feel a little bad that I'm sort of ruining your Anticipated score a little bit.

[Privacy] Show history of watched TV shows and movies but hide the dates
Hello,
I like the idea of sharing to others what I watched. Altough, I would be nice to have an option to hide to others at what date and time we watched it.The solutionw would be to show to others the history in the mode in which the dividers are toggled (the grid view)

Give everybody temporarily access to refresh data
Trakt switched from thetvdb to themoviedb as a source. I completely understand why. But now there are a lot of not 100% matching shows.
I'm trying my best to help update shows on themoviedb, so trakt has a reliable data source. But it would be nice if I can perform a data refresh in trakt to see if I updated the shows correctly, and there is a 100% match wit tmdb. I can't perform a data refresh myself, because I have no VIP account. I considered paying for a VIP account for a month, but that doesn't seem to be…

Client app available for Tizen/Galaxy watches
Hi guys. Just wanted to let you know that a client app is now available for Tizen/Galaxy watches (Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch 3 etc). Perhaps it could be displayed as a new supported platform :-)

Change tile count based on resolution (issue with ultrawide)
I'm using an ultrawide monitor (3440x1440) and due to how scaling works in Movies/TV I can only fully see the two large tiles at a time vs 3 rows as it is with 1080p. See the comparison in the image attached.
Maybe allow more movies per row on larger viewports?

Use premiere rather than theatrical release year
Most websites (IMDb, Wikipedia, Rotten Tomatoes, Letterboxd, etc.) use the premiere of a movie as its release year. Trakt uses the theatrical release, which is usually but not always the same year. For example, The Standoff at Sparrow Creek is considered a 2018 film by all of the sites I mentioned, but Trakt considers it a 2019 film. This can cause confusion, as the release year is typically used to identify different movies with the same name.

Ability to hide "popular" lists from show/movie overview pages
