Sync data from Facebook to Trakt
i always use facebook to check in what im watching at the moment. doesn't matter movie or tv series... so my idea is trakt can watched movie data from peoples facebook accounts. we are allready signing in with facebook..... if this feature come i can use trakt more often. i've aldready watched 712 movie... https://www.facebook.com/byhnd/video_movies_watch how can i re enter those to trakt ????

iPhone search bar
When clicking the search icon on the mobile website (Safari iOS) the search bar shows, but the keyboard does not automatically pop up. You then have to start the tedious process of trying to click on the search bar in order to actually type something.
Tested this on android: no problem, the keyboard Even pops up at once when the search icon is clicked.

Season Finale Alert (IT IS POSSIBLE)
I believe there is some data available that could be used to detect at least a "Possible Season Finale" and send that notification out to users that want this feature. You could label it a BETA FEATURE and you could even crowdsource it (have users confirm it is a season finale). Even if you send the notification out, two weeks after the season finale happened, it is still useful information to me and to many other users that like binge-watching seasons. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Most Watched boxes customizable
During my childhood I watched many animes such as Dragon Ball Z.
If I check-in the seasons the TV Show becomes my most watched TV Show by far.
Therefore this will never change since it has over 200 episodes and no new TV Shows today will have that much (I think)
I would like to be able to add this TV Show in my watched list but don't think having it as my most watched TV show is really relevant.
This applies for movies too.Suggestions

Show awards (and maybe nominations) on films / shows / profiles
It could for example be shown by a logo associated with the "competition" in color when won and in gray-scale when only nominated. A caption would be shown with the details (best actor, etc) when hovering. The logo would be on the film or show when on a profile, with a count at the top of the page. When on a film/show it would be either at the top when for the whole show or on specific actor/season.

Most Watched TV Show
On the profile page, the section titled:
MOST WATCHED TV SHOW
Is, or can be, a bit misleading. Example of what I mean:
TV Show 1 (TV1) has 150 episodes
TV Show 2 (TV2) has 20 episodesNow, I watch TV1 in its entirety, so that is 150 watches. Now I watch TV2, all episodes, 5 times. That is 100 watches. Now, the section titled most watched... will say that TV1 is most watched. Now TV1 has the most watches, because it has the most episodes, but really TV2 is the most watched as it has been watched 5 times…

Add YouTube video links to episodes
A good amount of shows have canonical versions of their episodes uploaded on YouTube.
It'd be useful if there was a way to "link" episodes with those specific YouTube videos.
This unique video ID (the part after /watch?v=) would ideally be exposed through the backend for API clients. As for the website, instead of embedding the video, a simple link would be fine since I don't think you guys are interested in turning Trakt into a viewing platform.

Mutually Exclusive Lists
Allow certain personal lists to be marked as mutually exclusive, meaning that if i add an item to such a list, it should automatically be removed from any other mutually exclusive list.

Share rating on facebook
Right now we can choose in share options if we want the rating published on social networks.

Add the ability to import in your account history, from another account on trakt, the selected movies/shows/episodes with the same watch date and the same votes.

Movie language matching with "original title"
After coming by this too often:
Please rely on the original title language from TMDB only as a fallback. It's wrong on tons of foreign movies due to the fact that the field was added just over a year ago.I would take the language field as the default and only if multiple languages are found do a comparison with the "original title". Wouldn't hurt to display all of them anyways though ;).

Calendar - Hide Watchlist
This idea was declined in November 2013 as "Not planned right now" so 3 years later maybe it could pass ?

Every time I add a TV Show on my watchlist I have to add it to my calendar's hidden items.
But I could understand why this idea isn't approved : Movies watchlisted have their importance in the calendar.
So why not only allow to hide Watchlisted Tv Shows from Calendar ? We can currently hide special episodes.

Making network groups
Making network groups for sharing Ratings, Collections, Comments etc
My idea in general is to add an option for making public/private groups. On these groups there we will be this features:
- Share each member's rating, see the average rating between all the members and compare it to the general ratings.
- Share statistics.
- Private discussion for each movie/tv show, only between the members.
- Share recommendations.
- See each member collection.
- See "people watching now" only from the member of the group.
etc...

Sort by air date of next episode
It would be cool to have, in the Watched Progress & On Deck, the option to sort by "Next episode to air", so that one can easily see which series needs to be caught up on the fastest.

Group list items by genre or year or other fields
Hi Justin,
I love the genre filters in collections and history, would be nice if there was like a submenu in Hide button for genres, if possible.
If not, it would be great (if possible) to add an option to group a list items by their type (tv/movie) or genre or year... etc, in the same way that history/collection item are grouped by days, using the separators.
Would be really helpful with mixed lists and watchlists. Please and thank you.
(also would be great if the sort options apply to each group's items, but I'm trying to not be greedy

Add bunch of movies to a list
I'd like to check how many movies I watched for an actor.
So I serached the actor and found his fimography.
But I can't filter those movies by watched or listed or collected like I do for a list, so I thought I could create a dummy list and add all his movies to it, but there is no fast method to do that. The only way is to add every single movie to the list, but for some prolific actors it could last forever.4 votes -
Wanted (in collection) / Wishlist
As many of us are indeed collectors, also focusing on collection automation within trakt.tv, people may want to differentiate further between stuff they like to watch (Watchlist) and what they actually like to collect (Wishlist - as seen and implemented in apps such as Movist)
Having a separate smart Wishlist, which is updated automatically as soon as items getting collected, may give us the best of two worlds, in addition reducing the management impact of the given Watchlist especially when it comes to bigger collections.

private profile public list
I have a private profile, but would like to make one of my lists public.
At the moment this doesn't seem to be possible. (Searches for the name of the list, already set to Public, does not return any results. If I go directly to the link of the list when logged out, what shows up is a message that the user is private, and not the public list.)
