Please create a support ticket by clicking Contact Support in the right sidebar for any issues with movies or tv shows (data duplications, updates/refreshes, data removals, etc), include links and as many details as possible.


The more info you can provide, the faster we'll be able to help you out.

We have a lot of support tickets and are working to update the site and issues as fast as we can. If you don’t get a reply right away, it’s not because we’re ignoring you, but because we are working on updates and fixes.

    You can do this on the website but it would be great to be able to filter the watchlist by streaming services using the API too

  2. Prequels and Sequences of Movies

    It would be a great idea if the developers could join the sequels and prequels of movies together. Like for Harry Potter series, if someone clicked Part 4 (Goblet of FIre), there should be a separate section in the page which shows Parts 1-7.Similarly, in the History tab, there should be a filter which shows the sequences and prequels of a movie series together.

  3. Advanced Filtering "Order By" Field When Searching

    Have a field in the advanced filtering options to sort the results, for example by the premiered date.

  4. collection notes

    it would be nice if we could have notes we could add to our collected copies. i'm thinking you could collect a digital copy and then put as a note "redeemed from 4K blu-ray code" or "sealed"

  5. Automated system cleaning

    I think it would be helpful if the system could do some automated cleaning assistance for the database. For example, if a movie has no IMDB and no TMDB id, it should be reviewed. Same if one or both of the IDs results in a page not found.

  6. Episode count slider

    Just wondering if anyone would be interested in an episode count slider in the search filters, just like the sliders for year and runtime?

  7. Notification about deleted episodes/movies

    Sometimes it happens that an episode or movie I've trakt gets deleted (because i checked in an duplicate or a wrong season number etc). It would be cool ih there was any notification when an item of my history list gets deleted.

    Maybe this could be implemented as an automatic notification when the deleted item shows on my history.

    You’re able to filter by country in the advanced filters on the search page if you’re a VIP.

    And if you click on the network name on a show page, it will do a search for all shows for that network that you can then as a VIP filter more.

  10. Allow multiple movies/shows to be selected at one time and things changed.

  11. DVD Order instead of Aired Order

    Hi. Is there any way that trakt can import DVD Order as default of episodes from TVDB and then fall back to Aired Order when this is not available. Some shows have incorrect order (Firefly, Transformers) because the episodes were aired out of sequence. Importing from DVD order as default would be more correct.

  12. Episodes are mixed up on multiple shows

    For the past two days it seems that the episodes are getting mixed. For example One Piece, Gintama, Scrubs.
    Episodes that I marked as watched appear as unwatched, and so on. But One Piece is the most scrambled one.

  13. Automatically complete episode once seen

    I use my collection to keep track of what I have actually seen properly (not 🏴‍☠️)
    But for shows that are just on youtube, I don't really need to keep track of that. So I'd like to be able to mark series as 'automatically collect when episode marked as viewed'

  14. Henry Danger duplicate season and episode errors

    Henry Danger appears to have an erroneous Season 7, and some duplicated episodes in season 5. Details below:

    Season 5:
    - 5x38 The Beginning of the End: Duplicate of 5x36
    - 5x39 Captain Drex: Duplicate of 5x37

    Season 7 is a copy of Season 5 from episode 12 onwards.

    None of these episodes appear on theTVDB.com (which I believe is where you get your data from) - although looking at the episode numbering for season 5 I suspect they were at some point since there is a gap where the two duplicate episodes above would have been!

    Season 7 is removed. Season 5 seems weird since they just removed those episodes vs. adjusting the numbering. Any idea why?

  15. Don't Want To Watch

    Would be nice to flag a movie as "don't want to watch" or "not interested". This would in effect be the opposite of watchlist. The reason for doing this is for people who spend a lot of time researching actors and selecting movies to collect or watch later, there may be some popular movies they don't want to watch. Flagging these movies would be helpful. For example, when reviewing popular movies you have the ability to hide movies that you have watched, planned to watch, collected, etc. but there is no ability to hide movies you don't want to watch.

  16. Data removal tool?

    I'm not sure how easy or viable it would be to implement but an ability to help out with the cleaning up of duplicate content on Trakt would be great, in my opinion.

    Perhaps make it something only available to long-term VIPers (e.g. 3+ years) before you're eligible.

  17. Scrobble from Google TV

    Google created a great new device with the new Chromecast with Google TV.
    It would be great to be able to a way to scrobble anything watched through this device to trakt. Maybe through on app on the device?

  19. Show movie runtimes as hours:minutes instead of just minutes.

    At least an option to switch between the two would be great. I'd like this because I often find myself doing the math to see how long a movie is.

  20. Could you guys implement an option to block plays? Could help with the duplicate data issue.

    Not sure how popular of an opinion this is, but I hate it when I accidentally add extra plays to the content that I watch and I only want 1 play per episode/movie on my account. Sometimes I'll add a play to something, it won't seem to register that play so I'll do it again, and then it'll go from "nothing" to 2 plays and I'll have to go cancel one of the plays because I hate having extra plays.

    Kind of selfish on my part but I wouldn't mind if Trakt had a feature to block plays if an…
