More collection metadata options
I sent this in an email, but I realize that Feedback might be a better place for it. Right now, there's tons of great metadata options for collections, but I think a few more options could be useful.
For media types, there are times where you can buy VOD movies on your TV/DVR/Cable box, so the source is your television. None of the existing media types really match this. Maybe something like PVR or Television could be added?
For audio, I was surprised by how robust the codec options already were. It would be nice if they could be expanded…

I'm having trouble with adding episodes to a list or rating one.
Pretty often when i try to give a rating to episodes it comes up with two messages in the top of my screen. One saying i rated it and one that i unrated it. That's one issue.
The other issue is that whenever i try to put something in a list it says DOH! We run into an error and then it adds something two times into the list. That's also annoying....Hoping this can be fixed as well as the servers. Sorry, not sorry. :)

Error 504: Gateway time-out
What's going on with the Trakt website?
I mean, it's been working on and off for the past few weeks at least but now it doesn't even open the page. I always get Error 504 gateway time-out or Error 502 bad gateway: it clearly says that the problem is neither in my browser nor in the Cloudflare, it's about the Host. I rely a lot on this website and don't really like using the app so I hope it's gonna be fixed soon!1 votePlease check twitter, we post updates there.

Wrong actor image on 'People' page
The profile image for this actor, Franklin Amobi, (https://trakt.tv/people/franklin-amobi) is grossly incorrect.
You are not alone in this mistake, Google Search, Reelgood.com and others all show the WHITE actor 'Cosimo Fusco' (who starred with Franklin in Angels & Demons) in place of the actual BLACK actor.
In fairness, for some reason, finding accurate, verifiable pics of Mr. Amobi is nigh-on impossible. I have taken the liberty of uploading an image of the actor from his only film (the aforementioned Angels & Demons) for you to do with as you please.

Mobile web version "lists" need filtering by Type (movies, shows) 🙏
When viewing a custom list on the mobile web site, it doesn't have "Type" in the filter. Really want to be able to filter custom lists by type (e.g., shows versus movies) like we can on desktop browser. So we can for example see only sci fi movies if we want to watch a movie, but not have to maintain separate sci fi television and movie lists.

1 voteYou can do this on mobile. Click the gear icon in the top right, then the eye icon. At the bottom of that popup you can toggle the types on or off. You might need to scroll your browser down since the list is quite long.

Filter my rated movies by rating
One friend asked me what were the best movies I ever watched.
I went to trakt, logged in, and tried to filter my rated movies by rating... seems a pretty basic fetaure, no?
But I can't find how to do this. Help please?

The House Detox
The tv show The House Detox (https://trakt.tv/shows/the-house-detox) has wrong information: no pictures, no cast and the wiki page is outdated (this is this new one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_House_Detox).
Also the show is still running and currently has 17 episodes however here it only shows 12.

Catfish tv show is incorrect in Trakt.tv compared to TVDB
I'm writing to let you know there's a difference btw trakt.tv + TVDB regarding the program CATFISH TV SHOW. There are 2 episodes I noticed are different... episode 1×12 on TVDB you have labeled 1×11 and trakt.tv is missing episode 8×15

Problem with lists
I can't create a new list or edit the description of the ones existing. I tried using Opera, Edge and Chrome and it doesn't work in any.

Viewing upcoming schedule
I think it would be pretty cool that instead of having the shows organised alphabetic inside the same day it would have an option to sort the shows by % watched. This way I would see first the shows that I'm into and less the ones I haven't even started for example.

A RSS feed that inclused total watched episodes and movies
Basically I'm trying to import the total number of episodes and movies watched into a Google Sheet, and I thought an RSS feed would be best way.Is that possible?
1 voteYour history page has an icon to get the RSS feed, but depending on how many items you’ve watch that would be a ton of data in a single RSS file. The RSS is more designed to grab the recently watched items.
You can add ?limit=X to increase the RSS to include more items which might work for you.
Otherwise, you can export a CSV or use the Trakt API to get your data as well.

Updating Posters
Changing the Avatar: The Last Airbender (https://trakt.tv/shows/avatar-the-last-airbender) poster back to this (https://thetvdb.com/banners/posters/74852-7.jpg) so it matches the poster for The Legend of Korra (https://trakt.tv/shows/the-legend-of-korra).
Also changing the season posters for Lost (https://trakt.tv/shows/lost-2004) so they're consistent (https://thetvdb.com/series/lost).

Can't add people to a list anymore
For some reason I can't add people to a personal list I've been managing. I was wondering if anybody else is having this issue maybe? And obviously, if there's anything I can do to fix this.

Collections
Hi folks, I would like to have clarified, What is a ‘collection’?
From what I’ve read, a ‘collection’ is what I physically own, like DVD’s etc. However, it seems that all shows and movies that are in my lists are automatically added to ‘collections’. This may be the streaming sites way of programming. If it isn't a big deal and doesn't affect anything, I can just ignore it, but I would like clarification.

Collections are indeed for items you own. We don’t auto add to collections, so an app might be doing that.

Updating info about a show
Hi! I've been changing info about the reality show SJ Returns on TVDB as soon as the new episodes air but it doesn't look like the Trakt page has been updated yet ... how long does it take usually? What I mean actually is if that's all I have to do?!

How do I share a content page from Android other than using the automatic social?
I would like to be able to copy the URL of a page about a movie or TV show or actor via email or other non supported service but the URL is obscured...
1 voteYou might be running the website in full screen app mode. If so, I assume you can long press on a link and copy it that way. Or if you run the website in a standard browser there should be a location bar to grab the URL.
