Users can add recommendations on a movie/show page -along with a comment-
Like the way MyAnimeList.net does. people can post recommendations and appear in the movie/serie page like the comments does.. the recommendations with more likes show up first.
this can replace the actual recommendations system, which, obviously suck.

Distinction between voice actors and actors in stats
I don't know if any one else has the issue but I for one am watching many movies and series in different languages, so I have no connection to the voice actors you are showing me in my stats that I have "watched". Also I'm watching many animes, which also makes it quite difficult to find the actors I have watched on the silver screen. It's just an idea that it would make it easier for people who see many animated series/movies to get also a list of actors they see and not only hear. Thanks for reading :)

Up next determined by air date
Currently, the episode shown to watch next is based on numerical order, so e.g. 4x20 will follow 4x19 - makes sense, of course.
But if there was a special that aired between these episodes, it will not show up as the next episode, which does of course get especially annoying when the specials are important to the plot of the series, for example Sherlock or Doctor Who.So what I'd love is that the "Next episode to watch" on the Dashboard and the Watched Progress page are (maybe optionally) based on the next episode that aired after the latest episode…

metadata bulk changes
I hope I am not just missing such a thing .... but I was looking at the options of adding metadata to entities. I have a large collection, and going in to each one of them individually is just not something I would take the time to do. Are there options to select multiple entities and do a bulk apply of a set of metadata? I do see the ability to change each individual entity

Easier add to list functionality
The list section is great, but lacking a quicker way to add films. An option in the UI at the top of the screen allowing checkboxes to add in bulk to a list would be very beneficial in building quick lists.
I am currently trying to find a quicker way of reviewing my films I have seen and building lists for friends as must-watch films, but to add 300 or so movies is very laborious.

Shows reappearing in Watchlist. Delete all button needed for the watchlist.
Every show in watchlist (260) are reappearing after being deleted. It’s too many and takes too much time to delete them one by one.
Watchlist NEEDS a delete all buttons. Not everyone is capable of performing scripts to mass delete items on a page via a browser console.
I’ve disabled any apps that were syncing with the watchlist. Please fix it!

Provide a Simplified Tracking Option
There should be an option in the settings menu that allows users to choose the tracking level they desire (for example, a dropdown list called "Tracking Level" with the options "basic", "standard" and "data nerd").
When a user sets their level to basic, they will not be required to record watch dates and can view their lists without any indication of the watch date. This will essentially simplify tracking to a watchlist, watched history, collected and rated. The only date visible could be a "date added" which simply indicates when you added it to a list in Trakt.

Hide collected shows from the calendar page
So my Plex library syncs to Trakt, so I have a pretty big collection of shows that I'm watching and a good amount of shows that I'm not watching. After initializing this sync I realized that my calendar page now includes collected shows that I have on my server (like Powerpuff Girls) but do not watch. If I "hide" collections then it will hide the shows that I do watch as well.
I'd like a way to disable collections from interfering with the calendar page as a whole so that it still behaves like it did before (a show appears…

Add bunch of movies to a list
I'd like to check how many movies I watched for an actor.
So I serached the actor and found his fimography.
But I can't filter those movies by watched or listed or collected like I do for a list, so I thought I could create a dummy list and add all his movies to it, but there is no fast method to do that. The only way is to add every single movie to the list, but for some prolific actors it could last forever.4 votes -
Same display/sort options for all pages
Can we please have the same display/sort options for all pages??
A few examples of what I mean.
Be able to view a personal list by "last watched"
On the main page lists Trending/Popular/Played etc. Be able to hide as well as fade
after searching be able to use the filters to sort by most popular/Plays/date etc.
be able to reverse the sorting of all sort options, ie. Progress page cannot have "recently watched" reversed. Which would be great to see what I haven't watched for a while...

History & Ratings: View All / Infinite Scroll vs. listing in pages
When looking through my History and Ratings pages, I'd really love to be able to see the full lists on one scrollable page. It would make for a nicer UX and visualization of the data as well as allow one to use their browser's Find function to jump to any given movie in the whole list.

Create hide field to remove tv seasons which have finished but haven't ended.
I like to binge watch tv shows but I hate watching halfway through a season and realizing that it hasn't finished. The idea is to hide seasons/tv shows off of the progress page which haven't finished airing for the season.
4 votesWe usually don’t enough data to know that a season is still in progress or not. Usually episodes are added to the season as it progresses and not all up front. I’ll move this to researching so we can look into later if we get more accurate data.

Clone confirmation
Ask for confirmation before just cloning a list and maybe add the option to set the typical list settings like privacy, title, etc.

Friends watched or followings watched ?
If I follow someone who's profile is not private,
I would be happy to see if he watched a movie/episode when you go on the movie/episode's page.
This only works if you're friends. But since the profile is public, I could go and check it manually. Which is a bit a waste of a time.
My point is it should be

Grouping movies into sets for your collection and list's
Sort your movies into sets for better organization. Movies sets are for sequels or movies that are otherwise apart of a directly related series.

Add Plot Keywords. User can thumbs up if agree. Info taken from www.themoviedb.org
On TV Show/ Movie information pages you can add a list of Plot Keywords. For Example: post-apocalyptic , superhero , future .
This information should be available from www.themoviedb.orgI would think it would be cool to also add a user thumbs up for each keyword on the info page. So the users can decide which keywords fit the best from themoviedb list. You can then show the more favored ones differently then less thumbed up ones.

Is there a way to create sublists (nested lists) in Trakt? It would really help with organization if we could create some kind of list hierarchy.

Chinese database/infowiki support for Asian films
Add support to display Chinese database/infowiki links for non-existent IMDB/Wikipedia links (vastly affected on Asian films), ex: https://trakt.tv/movies/links-love-2014

Check In with Watch Now services
An option to CHECK IN when using the WATCH NOW services links.
The WATCH NOW services currently open a modal window with Netflix, Hulu, NBC, etc. which opens a new window to the selection. Those who use the CHECK IN feature must either do that before using WATCH NOW or return to the Trakt show page and close the modal WATCH NOW window in order to click the CHECK IN button, and then return to the tab streaming the show/movie, taking away from the intended ease that each of these features provide on their own.
