Hide list icon when inside that list
The icon for lists is always blue for every movies when viewing a list (duh!) so it could be interesting to color only the icon of the movies who are in other lists than the one we're in

Filter idea and a serach bar in within rating/collection section
When in your ratings page, instead of fading your lets say collected movies they should just disappear completely and only show the once that you haven't collected ... A mini search bar within your ratings and collection page would also be really helpful in quickly finding out if you have rated or collected a curtain movie/show.

People's Pages - Show's Years
I would like to see one thing added to people's pages.
If they worked in a show, I think that description could have year wich started, and wich ended (if available). For example: 2008 - 2013
Also, in show's summary pages, this was available, did you remove it? Will you put it again?

Add setting option to disallow marking episodes/movies as watched multiple times
I've been using Trakt for a little while and find it super cool. There are many plugins and it really helped me to automate the tracking of what I've watched.
But I personally don't care about the number of times I have watched a given tv show episode/movie (nor even the when). The only thing that matters to me is to know whether I've seen something.
It actually bugs me a lot to see something like "8,332 episodes (8,334 plays of 97 shows)"
Some time ago I synced a Plex server with Trakt and it marked everyhting as watched again.…

Add reviews for an episode
I like to read reviews from The A.V Club and/or IGN of an episode after I watched it. So I would like to know if it's possible to add links to the reviews of the episode because I know it might be difficult to acquire the reviews automatically and not all shows have reviews but it would be a cool feature if it was available thank you.

Import more/all credits
It would be great if there was a way to get the complete credits for an item on the site. Limiting it to just the director and actors is overly simplistic.

Add Plot Keywords. User can thumbs up if agree. Info taken from www.themoviedb.org
On TV Show/ Movie information pages you can add a list of Plot Keywords. For Example: post-apocalyptic , superhero , future .
This information should be available from www.themoviedb.orgI would think it would be cool to also add a user thumbs up for each keyword on the info page. So the users can decide which keywords fit the best from themoviedb list. You can then show the more favored ones differently then less thumbed up ones.

Users can add recommendations on a movie/show page -along with a comment-
Like the way MyAnimeList.net does. people can post recommendations and appear in the movie/serie page like the comments does.. the recommendations with more likes show up first.
this can replace the actual recommendations system, which, obviously suck.

Add filter for most popular(most followed/commented...) user lists
One thing I would love to see coming back from old site is the popular
lists section where you could browse through most popular (liked/followed/commented) user lists. In the past I used this to discover some great movies this way! Example for a former popular list:

But there's no way to filter for most followed lists (month/year/week) as far as I know. What do you think?

network activity
Please make the Network Activity section on the dashboard bigger.
A lot of my friends (and me including) love to marathon tv shows and at the moment I can just see the last 9 episodes. If my friends marathon a show I won't be able to see any other activity and I just don't want to check everyone's history individually.
If this idea messed up the new dashboard, then it would also be an idea to add a "Read more" button next to that section and that button could redirect us to the last 30 or 40 activities/entries of our…19 votesPlanning to expand the items and also display the most recent action per friend, rather than allowing 1 friend to dominate.

Filter History by month
It would be awesome if you could restore the functionality to filter the history page by month and get an overview of how many episodes and movies I watched during that month.

[suggestion][bug] Adding New shows to watchlist as a "TV show" instad of "1st episode"
Under calendar, when you go to "All / New Shows" and you click add to watchlist, only specific episode is added to watchlist.
Suggestion: Add whole "TV show" to watch list instead of episode only.
Else please change "All / New Shows" to "All / New Episodes". It is misleading.Bug: Also in current state under new TV shows, added series episodes do not show up under "My / TV Shows", i.e. on your calendar.

Customized statistics for time spent watching
Like how many hours spent watching in a specific year, month, time frame aside from the existing statistics for the present week and total time spent watching.

Personal Top 10
It will be cool if everyone had a custom Top 10 for both shows and movies and we will be able to choose which show/movie are in the Top and choose the order.

Give lists a type, then use that in filter and search
Lists would be a great way to find new shows to watch, but when searching for a show in lists, most of the results are of the 'shows I've watched/want to watch' type and therefore not helpful.
If lists had a category attribute, (For instance: Best Of, Favorite, Watchlist, Watched, Personal, Recommendation) and that category could be used to filter search, then the results could, eventually, be much more helpful.

Customizing Upcoming Schedule
While the upcoming schedule is great, the fact that it includes shows on my watchlist makes certain days rather long. Perhaps we can have an option in the settings to display only a schedule that is the shows we've marked as watched.

Search for show(s) in lists
As a way to find new shows, and compatible users, it would be great to be able to search inside lists.
The current list search seems to find list names, not content in the list.
A couple of regular language examples:
"Show me lists that have The Hidden Fortress"

List view as an alternative to grid view
Make a written list of movies and show people have watch in alphabetical order. Include in it the rating given by the user and comments they may wish to write about the movie or show. This will make for a more condensed and orderly way of viewing your movies and shows.
