Mark multiple episodes watched/collected
I would like to be able to see a list of episodes with checkboxes next to each so that I could quickly mark what I have seen or collected. For example, I might have seen a full season except one special episode and it takes too many steps to mark this.

Compare your movie collection with someone else (friend or just another community member). This would show a list of the movies the other person has that you don't.

Community lists (or moderated lists)
Allow for lists to be moderated or have an option for a community list.
Moderated list: Allow an author of a list to add moderators. That would allow for the others to make changes to it. And as a further feature allow someone who isn't a moderator to submit an entry for the list. Examples of this could be a list for season previews, festival entries or genre lists.
Community list: This could be a list where everyone is allowed to submit one recommendation as for something like "community recommendations" or voting on lists; "trakt's favorite movie of 2012" etc.

Private messaging
Sometimes I want to exchange ideas with a user and can not. You could also put a message box or a small part "hidden" so that we can communicate. How about?

More specific privacy controls for sections
Another one to get more open profiles: Let users choose what information they are showing. There have been instances where previously open lists suddenly got private etc. This would still allow users who are not too eager to show things like their collection or maybe watchlist to others to at least have something public (ex. lists).

Recommend a show, episode or movie to a friend
It would be great if i could recommend a given show, episode or movie to another trakt user.
In order to avoid spam i suggest that you can only send a recommendation to a user that follows you.

Tag your collected items
Give us the ability to tag movies, series and episodes in our collection, using tags.
Tags can be marked as private, seen by friends or been public, like it's happening with lists.
Tags can also have their own unique custom color and can be manipulated through Trakt's API.
An example would be to tag some movies for their location in user's library, i.e. in HDD #3 or in BluRay #41. If someone want to do the above example now, using lists, s/he would end up having an enormous number of lists.

Notifications for changes in lists
It would be great if we could have notifications when a change is made to "liked" list.
Therefore if i follow/like someone elses list and he makes a change or addition i would be notified, can see the change and for example want to watch as well.8 votes -
Progress for movies
it collects box sets, e.g. all star trek, ice age, carry on, american pie, die hard movies
and it should include not only official box sets

Family accounts
I use XBMC, and make use of profiles for; myself, the wife, and the children.
I would like the ability in trakt to create a family account, so we can all still have separate libraries and use different accounts to scrobble. However via the family account they are linked, so there is an overview of what we have all watched etc recently.
Also, possibly the ability when viewing a family members activity to say "I watched this with them too" and have it show up in your feed as well. Or a popup in XBMC much like the rating dialog,…

Add started/unstarted filter and percent completed sorting option to lists.
The lists are great, and especially the native watchlist...
But it'd be great if I could filter out the ones that I've started or have not started. Furthermore, the ability to sort by the watch completion percentage would be great!

Horizontal cast list is unwieldy
The horizonal cast list has some issues worth mentioning:
- Captions are very small and often abbreviated, requiring mouseover;
- Emphasis on pictures makes it look nice, but trying to find someone by name or character name can take more time than necessary if the cast is extensive;
- Horizontal scrolling on mobile can be problematic (more often than not the touch sensor registers the slight vertical move of a finger and starts vertical scroll instead of horizontal), and even on desktop clicking and dragging the scrollbar is clunky compared to using the scroll wheel.
I'd much prefer it to be replaced with…

Only collected shows in progress page
I think it would be great if there was an additional filter for collected/uncollected shows in progress (watched) page. For example some show has 5 seasons but in my country I only have 3 - if i could mark "show only collected" then after watching these 3 seasons that show would disappear from my progress - until i'll collect more seasons...

Alert me to special local screenings of movies on my Watchlist (besides new releases)
It'd be great to be notified on the Dashboard when there's a special showing happening near me of movies that aren't new releases. There are lots of small, independent theaters that do special screenings, re-releases, or film festivals, or whatever.
For example, I had Vertigo on my Watchlist, and there was a showing at my local theater, and it would've been great if that appeared on my Dashboard.
I know getting to that data is difficult, and a lot of it is probably impossible to get in a usable, automatable format, but there are a lot of showtime sites that…

Add tmdb movie collections
When you lookup a title like
When visiting tmdb and looking at a title for instance "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" it is shown it's part of the Star Wars collection.
Also when visiting https://www.themoviedb.org/collection/10-star-wars-collection you can easily see which titles are part of this collection. I was thinking it might be handy that we could just click through to a collection and see which titles are part of this collection.5 votes -
Custom genres for anime
You previously added some genres based on keywords on trakt. I would like to propose the following to be added to that list, primarily having anime shows in mind:
- Harem (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=tag&tagid=2859) (could be handled as romance but shows usually have no "winning" girl)
- Slice of Life (https://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=tag&tagid=2864) (imho the biggest one since "drama" doesn't fit at all)
- Mecha (https://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=tag&tagid=2638)
- Ecchi (https://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=tag&tagid=2856) (could be handled as "erotic" to cover regular content too)
- Romance (TMDB has yet to create this as a genre for TV shows..)

Change modal windows behavior
It would be nice clicking on the modal “backdrop” to automatically close the modal. Currently modals can be closed only with the [ x ] close link in upper right corner of the modals.
